Fourth day in Europe
Currently I am in Orlova, Czech Republic, in case any of you guys were wondering. Today we have travelled a total of 7 hours on subway bus and train. This morning the team and I went into the local schools in Litvinov, Czech Republic. Apparently where I stayed the night with my host family was 5 kilometers from Germany. In Czech Republic Communism used to be and is a very big deal. Most of the older relatives still remember the days and talk about Communism. It was very different staying in the homes where the culture is very different. But none-the-less I enjoyed my time with my host family and was very blessed to be a part of their church. Tomorrow, in Orlova, we are going to work in the classrooms and play soccer with the kids. I sometimes wished I still played soccer in college but maybe tomorrow will be my time to relive some of those memories that I had... Or maybe not. This trip has been very exciting for me and everyday has been life changing, whether it was the first day or now. I have never been to Europe before so this experience is very important to me... Remember, when you aren't working to get better, someone is. Do all things to glorify God.
