Heat or Beat?

Have you ever wondered about the Miami Heat and how the team can cope with having three superstars? It is amazing when you have a team that has so much talent and so much power it is almost hard to understand that a team can cope with each other. It amazes me that LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh can all play together. I mean who is the superstar on the team. At one point superstar's ego have to collide. But with such talent and such power completing a championship would be really hard to accomplish if the Heat were fighting or not being a complete team.
And that is my topic I would like to talk about today. Being a team player.
Now anyone can have raw talent doing 360 windmill dunks and be a superstar. But it takes more than flash and fame to make a complete team. What is the meaning of a team player? Being a team player is willing to make a sacrifice to make the team the best it can be. And that means that making yourself fully available to do ANYTHING to make the team better. It is making the extra pass, it is diving on the floor, it's giving up of yourself and it is protecting your family. Being a team player is going outside of your boundaries to make the bigger picture better. The little things are what are most important. The little things are important in sports and in life. That's why I believe sports are such a benefit in life because we get to learn life skills through athletics. Being the team player is very important. It makes teams like the Miami Heat become a championship caliber team because King James, Bosh, and Wade are all team players. They will be great.
Remember, when you aren't doing something to make yourself better, someone is.
